Hull KR v Wigan Warriors - Grand Final

It’s going to be mouth-watering clash between the top two.

This will be the second year in a row that Hull KR and Wigan Warriors have faced one another in a Super League final, the first time that two teams have squared off in consecutive finals since Leeds Rhinos and St Helens contested three in a row between 2007 and 2009.

The Robins are hunting down the treble and have the chance to become history makers on Saturday. If victorious, they will achieve a clean sweep of domestic trophies in 2025 and become only the fifth club to ever lift the Super League trophy.

As well as winning the Challenge Cup for the first time in 45 years, Hull KR finished top of the league table in Super League XXX, their first ever time doing so.

Did you know that the tams which won the League Leaders' Shield have gone on to win each of the last three Grand Finals? (Wigan Warriors in 2024 and 2023 and St Helens in 2022).

For Wigan Warriors, they will be making a staggering and record-equalling 14th Grand Final appearance and are looking to complete a three-peat.

The current champions could clinch their eighth title, which would put joint-second on the honour roll, alongside Leeds Rhinos, and only behind St Helens (9).
